Ayushmann Khurrana announces 'An Action Hero' release date

Ayushmann Khurranna 'An Action Hero': Ayushmann Khurranna and Jaideep Ahlawat are set with their next 'An Action Hero'. The teaser of the film has already raised the excitement of the fans and now the makers have announced the released date of the film.

'An Action Hero', starring Ayushmann Khurrana, will be released in theatres on December 2, the producers announced on Friday. The film follows an actor's journey both in front of and behind the camera, and is touted as a smooth actioner with an unusual humour.

While unveiling the teaser Ayushmann wrote, "Dikkat Bas Ek Hi Hai, Mujhe Ladne Ki Acting Aati Hai, Ladna Nahin… Super excited for a genre-breaking collab ONCE AGAIN with @Aanandlrai and #BhushanKumar! This one’s special! #ActionHero"

Ayushmann Khurrana highlighted what attracted him to the movie 'An Action Hero. ", he explained "I fell in love with An Action Hero's script right away. It's crazy, it's new, it's disruptive, and it has all of the cinematic elements for which I've become known."

According to producer and filmmaker Aanand L Rai, the first segment of 'An Action Hero' in London was a delight.

Ayushmann has two major projects in the works in addition to An Action Hero. The star will reunite with Anubhav Sinha in the thriller Anek. He also has Doctor G in the works, in which he will  share screen space with Rakul Preet Singh for the first time.

'An Action Hero' will be released on December 2, 2022
