Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer 'Anek' gets new release date

Anek New Release Date: Ayushmann Khurrana’s much-awaited thriller 'Anek', which was initially slated for release on May 13, 2022, has got a new release date.

Now, Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer 'Anek' will hit the theatres on May 27, 2022. The announcement regarding the new release date of the film 'Anek' was made in a new poster which was released on Tuesday.

While giving the information, Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "AYUSHMANN KHURRANA: 'ANEK' NEW RELEASE DATE... #Anek - starring #AyushmannKhurrana, which was initially slated for release on 13 May 2022 - will now arrive on 27 May 2022... Directed by #AnubhavSinha... Produced by #BhushanKumar, #KrishanKumar, and #AnubhavSinha... NEW POSTER..."

By changing the release date, the filmmakers have avoided the film's clash with ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ which features Ranveer Singh in the lead role.

The film producers Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha shifted the release of ‘Anek’ to May 27 so that 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' and 'Anek' can both get their fair share of audience attention.

Film ‘Anek’ is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks.
