Baisakhi or Vaisakhi is one of the most celebrated festivals of Punjab. On this auspicious day people celebrate the harvest of their crops which is celebrated by all Punjabis. This day is also associated with the foundation of Khalsa community and celebrated as Khalsa Panth Divas across the state of Punjab. However, due to the rise of Covid-19 and on-going farmers protest against the Centre’s Farm Laws; the celebration is constraint.
