According to the news agency ANI, the investigation into the death case of the 21-year-old artiste Bidisha De Majumder is underway.

Bidisha De Majumder was the Bengali actress who made her acting debut with the 2021 short film titled 'Bhaar- The Clown'.
As per reports, the actor was living in a rented flat in Kolkata for over the last four months. On May 25, Bidisha De Majumder was found dead at her flat in the Nagerbazar area. Reportedly, the Barrackpore Police was informed about the same and rushed to her apartment by breaking the door and found her body hanging.

The reports further stated that the actress' body was sent to RG Kar hospital for autopsy by the police. Meanwhile, further information on the investigation was still awaited.
Likewise, the cops are questioning her close friends and family members about the incident.

Unfortunately, the incident comes to light days after a television actor had committed suicide, police said on Thursday. The police said that a suicide note was found near the body in which it was written that she took the extreme step due to a lack of career opportunities.
