'Bharat Ek Khoj' actor Salim Ghouse dies of cardiac arrest

Salim Ghouse Death: Film actor Salim Ghouse on Thursday passed away at the age of 70 in Mumbai due to a cardiac arrest. The last rites were performed early on Thursday morning.

Salim Ghouse’s wife Anita Salim confirmed the death of veteran actor. She said that Salim experienced pain in his chest on Wednesday night and passed away on Thursday morning due to a cardiac arrest.

According to information, the family members took Salim to Kokilaben Hospital last night. However, he took his last breath on Thursday morning.

Notably, Salim Ghouse was a multifaceted actor, a martial artist, an actor, a director, and a chef.

'The Family Man' actor Sharib Hashmi expressed grief over the death. He tweeted, “Pehli baar #SalimGhouse Sahab ko tv serial #Subah mein dekha tha! Aur unka kaam behadd laajavaab laga tha !! Unki awaaz ❤️❤️.”

Ghouse began his acting career in 1978 with the movie 'Swarg Narak', after which he featured in films like 'Chakra' (1981), 'Saaransh' (1984), 'Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho!' (1984), among the others.
