Bhumi Pednekar-Rajkummar Rao's 'Badhai Do' gets a release date; details inside
The upcoming film 'Badhaai Do,' starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, has been making headlines for quite some time. The release date for this comedy film has finally been announced.
The National Award-winning film, Badhaai Ho, by Junglee Pictures is gearing up to take the film's adoration to new heights with Badhaai Do. The film, directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, is one of the most anticipated family films due out next year.
The announcement was made on Saturday by the producers. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar star in the film.

Rajkummar and Bhumi will be seen sharing screen space for the first time, portraying interesting characters they have never played on screen before. While Raj will play a cop in a mahila police thana, Bhumi will play a physical education teacher in the film.
While talking about the film, director Harshvardhan stated, “When it comes to family entertainers especially comedy films, cinema is the ideal platform as they can be enjoyed with the entire family. We are super excited to bring ‘Badhaai Do’ in cinema halls on the Republic Day weekend. It’s a wholesome entertainer and I really hope the audiences would enjoy watching the movie as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

Amrita Pandey of Junglee Pictures expresses a similar sentiment "Bringing powerhouse talents like Raj, Bhumi, Harsh and Akshat-Suman together on this movie has been truly phenomenal. We can't wait to bring this very special movie to the theatres."
'Badhaai Do' is written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary. The movie is scheduled to release on Republic Day weekend.

Other than this Bhumi recently was also roped for ‘Bheed’ opposite Rajkummar Rao. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha. While talking about Bhumi being roped for the film Anubhav mentioned, “Bhumi was the perfect choice for a film of this nature.”
