Independence Day 2023: Anupam Kher, a renowned senior actor, honored the 77th Independence Day with a moving video message that touched the hearts of his ardent fans and brought tears to their eyes. Kher conveyed a message that struck a chord with the masses by embodying the Indian tricolor with eloquence and emotion.
The famous actor known for his work on 'Kashmir Files' made a touching gesture on Instagram by sharing a video of inspiration to remember this historic day.
“I am the tricolor...... I often wonder if our tricolor ever gets a chance to express its feelings to the countrymen, what will the tricolor say to us? On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, I have tried to address the countrymen on behalf of our national flag in this video! Watch out! And share it! Happy Independence Day to all Indians! Hail India! Hail Mother India!,” Kher said while sharing the video on the Insta.
The video went beyond being a simple digital presence to show historical turning points in India's history, the price that was paid in the country's war for independence, and the ongoing problems the country has faced. This moving story perfectly captured the difficult journey India has made over the years.
This year marks the celebration of 76 years since India's hard-fought independence. The culminating event of this Independence Day carries the torch of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' festivities. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, 2021, from the hallowed grounds of the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, these celebrations rekindle the spirit of the nation, infusing it with renewed enthusiasm to realize PM Modi's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
Amid his prolific endeavors, Kher also shared a glimpse of his portrayal in his 528th film, the Telugu drama 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. This period film, set in the 1970s, is anchored in real-life events surrounding a daring and audacious thief from South India, played by Ravi Teja, and the people of Stuartpuram. Written and directed by Vamsee, the film is produced under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts and presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal. Scheduled for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' promises a captivating narrative for audiences across regions.
Furthermore, Anupam Kher is set to grace the silver screen in 'The Vaccine War'. This poignant film revolves around India's remarkable contribution to the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic through the development of a vaccine. Helmed by the accomplished Vivek Agnihotri, 'The Vaccine War' is poised to premiere in theaters on September 28, presented in 11 languages.
