Brahmastra 2 update; Ranveer Singh to play Dev in the upcoming sequel of Ranbir Kapoor starrer fantasy drama?

The year 2022 has been one of the biggest year of Ranbir Kapoor as the Bollywood's most awaited fantasy drama made it's way among the audiences. I am talking about Brahmastra: Part 1 Shiva! Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the movie has witnessed immense love and appreciation from the global Bollywood fanatics for it's wonderful storyline, cinematography and mind boggling CGI. Ever since the release of the movie, the fans started waiting eagerly for the rest of it's upcoming sequels as it was promised to be one of the most enthralling movie franchise of the industry, as per the promise helmed by the makers. 

The rumored actors who might opt for Dev in Brahmastra 2! 

As per the confirmation made by the insiders, the Part II of the movie has been titled Dev unlike Shiva as it's first installment. Over the period numerous speculations were made about the actor regarding who will be taking over the character. Previously many reports have suggested about Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, South actor Yash and many others about playing the role but no official confirmation has ever enrooted through the realm of news and entertainment. However, among all the roaring reports, a strong source has now confirmed about roping Ranveer Singh for leading the role in the upcoming sequel of the Brahmastra series. 

Is it Ranveer Singh?

The Padmavaat actor, Ranveer Singh has signed the contract with the makers, as stated by the source. While the script of the movie is still prepping under development, the movie is suppose to commence it's production procedures from the year 2024. The dates and the months are however not confirmed by the makers as the director Ayan Mukerji is slatting for War 2 while Ranveer Singh on the other hand will be commencing his upcoming film Baiju Bawra by the end of this year. Despite all the igniting rumors, the makers have still not confirmed about any of the new regarding 'Brahmastra 2'

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'Brahmastra' is Ranbir Kapoor's most recent movie that was released back in 2022, wherein he was seen playing the fictional character of Shiva who seeks on saving the Brahmastra from the evil powers. For bringing the character of Siva into life, Ranbir Kapoor has shed his blood sweat and tears to grasp a crispy physique and power possessing aura to play the superhero character. The movie has done an exceptional job in the box office, both in India and overseas market.
