'Citadel': Samantha Ruth Prabhu takes Ice bath challenge to next level; see pictures

Ice baths are a popular method of bodily recovery among fitness enthusiasts and professional athletes. Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently took a dip in an ice bath as well and shared her experience on her Instagram story. Since Samantha enjoys strenuous exercise and is preparing for Citadel's action sequences, an ice bath treatment has the potential to be beneficial and aids in her recovery.

"It is torture time," Samantha posted beside a photo of herself submerged in an ice bucket, along with the hashtags #Icebathrecovery and #actionmodeon. Myositis has Samantha now in recovery. She released a video a few months ago after a particularly challenging workout in which she received the reward of Jalebi from her personal trainer.

Varun and Samantha recently attended the 'Citadel' grand premiere of the new action-thriller television series.

The forthcoming local spy series "Citadel," which was developed by renowned directors Raj and DK, will debut only on Amazon Video. The Russo Brothers directed the big-budget sci-fi series "Citadel" in its original form.

In the American remake, Priyanka Chopra, a desi girl from India, will star alongside Richard Madden.

Varun expressed his excitement for his OTT debut, especially as it would be with the Indian Citadel installment, saying, "Prime Video is like home to me, and I am excited to start this adventure in the streaming space with them.

In a Telugu romantic comedy called Kushi, Samantha will next be seen acting alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Furthermore, she has Varun Dhawan's Citadel India scheduled. For this Raj & DK directed film, they are currently filming in Uttar Pradesh.
