According to a reports, a reliable source close to the couple has disclosed that Deepika is expected to deliver her baby at a hospital in South Bombay on September 28, 2024. As the date approaches, Deepika is cherishing her remaining work breaks and preparing for the arrival of their child.
The source commented, “Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly looking forward to this new phase in their lives and are dedicatedly preparing their home for the baby. If everything proceeds as planned, she will give birth at a South Bombay hospital on September 28. In the interim, Deepika is making the most of her work hiatus as she readies herself for motherhood.”
Deepika's Return to Work
Following the birth of their child, Deepika Padukone is expected to take a maternity leave of several months. Reports suggest that she will return to her professional commitments in March 2025. The source revealed, “Her maternity leave is set to last until March next year, after which she will promptly resume filming. She is scheduled to start working on the sequel of 'Kalki,' which will feature an impressive ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.”
Possible Move to New Home
In addition to preparing for the arrival of their baby, Deepika and Ranveer are contemplating a move to their newly acquired ₹110 crore residence. The property, which has been the subject of much social media buzz, is nearing completion. Reports suggest that the couple may move into the luxurious home following the birth of their child.

Earlier reports from NDTV indicated that Ranveer purchased a sea-facing apartment near Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat for ₹110 crore, potentially setting the stage for an illustrious neighbourhood.
