Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has oozed and whacked the Indian period drama fanatics, especially the ones who long for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's breathtaking grandeur finesse. The whopping drama series has roped off some of the most ethereal characters portrayed by the Indian actresses, and been able to impress audiences like absolutely none. The huge ensemble of female star cast included actresses from the starry front of Indian cinema like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjida Sheikh, Richa Chadha, and Sharmin Segal. The series has literally boggled everyone's mind and heart with the sheer drama of Lahore's iconic Heeramandi during its independence struggle. But what was even more interesting were the musical numbers it had. One among such has to be the most riveting 'Ek Baar Dekh lijiye.'

The soothing song, 'Ek baar Dekh Lijiye' is officially out now as the makers have unveiled the unmissable romance between Tajdar(Taha Shah Badussha) and Alamzeb(Sharmin Segal). On Friday, 24th May 2024, the makers of Heermandi finally released the official song of the enthralling series all across social media platforms. Penned by A M Turaz and composed by the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself, the song's mesmerizing voice has been landed by Kalpana Gandharva. 

While taking over the official Instagram handle, Bhansali Productions shared the song that featured the most oozing couple in the drama series, Tajdar and Alamzeb delving into their unmatchable romance. Set in the backdrop of the lead characters, the song perfectly amalgamated the adorable moments of the couple, picked from the various sequences of the SLB series. Meanwhile, the song is based on the infamous poem once chanted by Sharmin Segal that reads, "Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana dijiye. Jalne ko hai taiyar, parwana bana dijiye."

Led by all women, the Netflix television series is set in pre-independent India and revolves around the life of the courtesans when they were treated as equals as queens. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Sehgal, it is an intense historical drama that takes the audiences around the themes of 'love, power, and freedom'.
