Karan expressed his thanks for the unforgettable 25 years he has spent as a director on Instagram. I grew, I sobbed, I smiled, and I lived. And while I share my birthday with you all, I am beyond thrilled that another piece of my heart will be available for you to view tomorrow. Having a kahaani that screams "Prem" at you. I'll see you then.

With his voice-over, Karan offered a montage of famous love scenes from his earlier films, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Student of the Year. "Love comes with its conflicts and challenges, but it is the most beautiful feeling in the world," he is overheard adding. And I am incredibly grateful as I reflect on my 25-year experience as a filmmaker. What started out as a modest attempt to share narratives of love, friendship, and family that spoke to me. Love, however, took on new meaning every day as each of you embraced these tales and people.

Then, as Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani's BTS footage starts to play in the video, he utters the following: "This love of yours has given wings to a new story, a new prem kahani, a story that celebrates love like never before, in all its beauty and grandeur. I'm going to tell you a story that I've been waiting for. Finally, it is complete. Let's celebrate family, love, and so much more at the cinema, where we'll see you there.

From Alia Bhatt, Manish Malhotra, and up-and-coming actor Shanaya Kapoor, his tweet attracted a lot of live comments. As well as expressing their excitement for the movie, the filmmaker's supporters also responded.
