The excitement didn't stop there—on August 7, the filmmakers revealed that Laila Majnu would be released nationwide on August 9, allowing audiences across India to experience or revisit this poignant love story in theatres.
Laila Majnu is set against the breathtaking backdrop of Kashmir, weaving a narrative around two lovers, Qais and Laila, whose love is thwarted by familial hostility. On the eve of the film's re-release, renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who was closely associated with the project, took to Instagram to express his gratitude. Re-releasing 9th Aug '24 in cinemas nationwide. Congratulations team LM."
