The striking 11.3-carat Bulgari diamond necklace placed at the base of Chopra's neck was one in particular that attracted the public's attention. According to a market report, this piece of art would be sold at auction for 205 crore rupees at the end of the Met Gala event, according to a Vogue India story.
According to a Harper Bazaar UK article, the statement piece includes a "single stone, the Bulgari Laguna Blu diamond, worth an astonishing $25 million. The brilliant oceanic blue colour of the 11.16-carat gemstone, which gives it its name, was first set as a ring in 1970. It is the largest Bulgari blue diamond ever to be offered for auction by Sotheby's.
Priyanka Chopra and Anne Hathaway brand ambassadors were featured in pictures from the Met Gala on the Bulgari official Instagram page.
The actress chose to wear all black to match her singer-husband Nick Jonas, who kept things casual in a leather blazer with a pristine white shirt and black trousers.
