Salman Khan planned 'Tere Naam 2' with Satish Kaushik befire his demise
Satish Kaushik, an actor and filmmaker, passed away from cardiac arrest in March of this year. Satish Kaushik has appeared in more than 100 movies, but he is best known for playing the legendary character "Calendar" in the film Mr. India.
Everyone was in tears when his daughter Vanshika recently gave a touching message on the anniversary of his birth. Salman Khan, who played the late actor in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is now discussing him and their plans for Tere Naam 2.
Salman Khan recently engaged in media interaction as he prepares for the release of his movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and said that he had exchanged plans for Tere Naam 2 with Satish Kaushik before the latter's passing.
The romance drama Tere Naam was helmed by Kaushik and stars Salman as Radhe. It was a remake of the Tamil movie Sethu, with Bhumika Chawla playing the major role. The major actors' reunion for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after exactly two decades is unquestionably a sign that life has come full circle.
Recently in an event, Salman Khan said that Satish Kaushik was in discussions for 'Tere Naam 2'. He said that 20 years ago, he heard one line of the script and knew that he would continue with the same script which would make a fantastic film.
In the meantime, previously Salman Khan penned a heartfelt note to Satish Kaushik which read as "Always loved cared n respected him n shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace n strength to family n loved ones. .. #RIP Satish Ji.”
On the occasion of the late actor's birth anniversary, Anupam Kher recently hosted a celebration in his memory.
