Sooraj Pancholi seeks blessings at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib after being acquitted in Jiah Khan's case

After a special CBI court issued its verdict regarding the suicide case involving Jiah Khan, actor Sooraj Pancholi recently made headlines. The actor was ultimately declared innocent and was able to leave the courtroom free. Sooraj visited the Siddhivinayak Temple to ask for blessings after the decision was made. He was recently observed going to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi. Sooraj sent photos to his fans' social media accounts on Wednesday.

The actor also published the images. He sported trousers and a relaxed blue T-shirt. Just the folded hands emoji was used as the caption.

The Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi is where Sooraj Pancholi posted a few images on his Instagram account on Wednesday. When spotted in front of the Gurudwara pond, the actor was sporting a casual blue T-shirt and blue denim jeans and had his hands in a fist. Several celebrities, including Arbaaz Khan's girlfriend Giorgia Andriani, commented on his post even though it only had the emoji "folded hands" in the caption.

On June 3, 2013, the body of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan was discovered at her Juhu residence. She allegedly wrote a six-page suicide note, which was found. She described in the letter how Sooraj reportedly subjected her to a "intimate relationship, physical abuse, and mental and physical torture" which led her to make the decision.

It was said that he had cheated on her, mistreated her, and even sexually assaulted her, forcing her to have an abortion as a result. Even though he was detained, he was later released on bond. After his release on bail, Jiah's mother went to the Bombay High Court to request that the investigation be turned over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The central investigative agency then submitted a charge-sheet in December 2015, accusing Sooraj of aiding suicide in violation of Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
