Vicky Kaushal Unveils Trailer Release Date For 'The Great Indian Family'
On Monday, the creators of the upcoming family drama film, 'The Great Indian Family,' unveiled the release date for its trailer. Vicky Kaushal, the lead actor, took to Instagram to share a captivating movie poster along with the announcement, saying, "The wait is almost over! Mark your calendars for the trailer of #TheGreatIndianFamily, releasing tomorrow! link in bio #TheGreatIndianFamily arrives in cinemas near you on September 22!"
The official trailer for the movie is set to drop on September 12. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film features Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chillar in prominent roles and is scheduled for release in theaters on September 22. The narrative unfolds in the heartland of India, revolving around the chaos that erupts within Vicky's family due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond anyone's control. In the film, Vicky portrays the character of Bhajan Kumar, a local singing sensation.
Recently, the filmmakers unveiled the first track from the film titled 'Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja,' which garnered a positive response from fans. Sung by Nakash Aziz, the song's lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and the music is composed by Pritam.
Director Vijay Krishna Acharya has previously helmed notable films such as 'Tashan,' 'Dhoom 3,' and 'Thugs of Hindostan.' Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in the family entertainer 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,' opposite Sara Ali Khan. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film received widespread acclaim from audiences and was a box-office hit.
Additionally, Vicky Kaushal has exciting projects lined up for the future, including director Meghna Gulzar's 'Sam Bahadur,' which narrates the story of India's war hero and the first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. He also stars in an upcoming untitled film directed by Anand Tiwari, alongside actors Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk. This film is scheduled to hit theaters on February 23, 2024.
