Bombay HC dismisses stay on Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey'; film to release as per schedule By Rajan Nath 13 Apr 2022 | Updated On 13 Apr 2022 17:23 IST in Entertainment News New Update Advertisment Bombay High Court dismisses stay on Jersey: It's a piece of good news for Shahid Kapoor fans and Mrunal Thakur along with the makers of the film 'Jersey'. The film will finally release on April 22. The film was facing legal issues in the past few days over copyright claims on the story. In view of the complex conditions, the filmmakers decided to postpone the film by a week to April 11. Earlier, the film was scheduled to be released on April 14. The makers didn’t want to leave anything for the last moment and hence decided to get a favorable order from the court before the release of the film. Image Source: YouTube The complaint was filed by writer Rajneesh Jaiswal who claimed that the story belonged to him. However, the High court dismissed the stay on the film.
