Sharing his love, warmth and bundles of wishes, Big B wrote, "It is in the morn of another family birth .. of which that has required no explanation .. the better half celebrates her birthday TODAY , and all the greetings for her are recognised and shown gratitude, as always .. A quiet family 'bring in' for the 9th on the midnight hour .. and the love of immediate family presence.."
Meanwhile, both the icons got married long back, in the year 1973 and had been together in love and affection ever since. Speaking of their films together, Big B and his wife has shared screen in movies like Sholay, Silsila and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum.
Jaya Bachchan calls Amitabh Bachchan as her best friend
Over the years, the couple had never seen in a turmoil or anything of its sorts that has made it to the public. In-fact, as per a previous revelation made by Jaya Bachchan, Amit ji is her best friend. During a podcast session, when asked by her grand daughter Navya, "If two people are just friends, do you think it's correct to put romance in between a friendship?" To which Jaya Bachchan said, "But it's true. My husband is my best friend. I don't hide anything from him."
