From 600K to 2.7M: Triptii Dimri's Instagram Explodes After 'Animal' Sensation

Triptii Dimri is currently basking on the success of the movie 'Animal'. In the meantime, she has witnessed an astonishing 320 percent surge in her Instagram followers. The film, which was released on December 1 and stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, has been a topic of discussion, with some audiences criticizing it for promoting toxic masculinity.

Triptii Dimri gained widespread attention, especially for her intimate scenes in 'Animal,' including a notable 'lick my shoe' scene with Ranbir Kapoor. The buzz surrounding these scenes has undoubtedly contributed to the significant growth in her Instagram following.

She now boasts an impressive 2.7 million followers, a substantial increase from her previous count of around 600,000 just a month ago.

Triptii Dimri made her debut in the film industry with the comedy 'Poster Boys' in 2017. Her first leading role came in the romantic drama 'Laila Majnu' in 2018. However, it was her performances in Anvita Dutt's films 'Bulbbul' (2020) and 'Qala' (2022) that garnered critical acclaim before she took on a supporting role in the high-grossing action film 'Animal' (2023).

Apart from Triptii and Ranbir, 'Animal,' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, also features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles.

Triptii Dimri shared insights into her collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on 'Animal': "While signing the project, Sandeep told me that there’s a scene, and I want to shoot it this way, but I will make it look aesthetically amazing. I want to create a Beauty and the Beast kind of image. And this is what I have. I leave it up to you, whether you're comfortable or not comfortable, you let me know, we'll work around it is what he told me... So, when I saw the references, I was like ‘wow, it’s an important moment between the two characters. That made me comfortable."

Triptii Dimri's rising popularity extends beyond 'Animal,' with an upcoming project alongside Vicky Kaushal in her filmography.
