Compared himself with Tota Roy Chowdhury

Often catcalled as movie-mafia of Bollywood, KJo barely gives a 'F' to his haters as he confessed. As he said, his life was tough ever since from childhood, but he doesn't care anymore of the judgements the world throws at him. Karan has already faced the worst, so he prepares himself for the worst every time to let him built a wall of 'no-negativity' around him. So as said, now he doesn't let hatred comes his way. Meanwhile, he also compared his life with Tota Roy Chowdhury from the movie RARKPK, who was seen playing the role of a Kathak dancer.

Karan's strong confession

While confessing his strong ways of handling with Film Companion at TIFF, he said "Vicariously, we live our lives through cinema. Even in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Tota Roy Chowdhury's character (Chandon Chatterjee), Alia's father in the film, and what he spoke about being laughed at as a child when he wanted to dance. It was pretty much a section of my childhood where I was considered different from the other boys. Unusual. People would use all kinds of words at that time that were hurtful." While continuing his statement he further added, "Very easily, you can get weakened by what people say about you. But I felt like 'Thank God I have cinema where I can express myself". True words spoken by KJo after-all. Life is yours, you're not defined by the world!
