Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up about her role in Singham Again; Talks about sharing screen space with Ranveer-Deepika
Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of India's most accomplished stars who has served with her magical performances in cinema over the past decades. Known for her versatile characters, she has aced every movie she has done so far and we are few among her million fans globally. Recently she has acquired immense fame and recognition in the film 'Crew' for for her witty character where she starred along with Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Upcoming next, the ravishing diva is bracing herself up for Rohit Shetty's most awaited film of the cop universe, Singham Again where she will be playing an integral role alongside many other big stars like Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone.
Recently, during an interview, the iconic actress shared some enthralling deets about her character in Singham Again and talked about sharing screens with other renowned actors. Speaking about her role in the cop universe's upcoming installment, she said, "The movie has emotion, action, and on top of that, I have a lovely role that's a pivotal part of the film. Even if you look at big-ticket Hollywood films like Avengers, there's always an emotional connection. Singham Again has emotion that comes from my character. So, after doing Crew and especially the audience, seeing me in this movie will be a total 360-degree turn as an actor."
During the same conversation, she was asked whether Singham Again would make it possible for the audience to see her sharing a similar screen with other leading actors like Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. Answering to which, Bebo quipped, "I'm sure that's part of the surprise of the film that you guys have to watch! But yes, it's a stellar cast. And I think there's no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together in one frame. Yes, and it's definitely going to happen."
Meanwhile, Singham Again is the fifth installment of the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty. The earlier films of its kind include - Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Earlier the filmmaker also introduced Deepika Padukone who will be joining the cop universe along with her husband Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. The film will feature Deepika Padukone as Shakti Singham. Apart from Deepika, the film will also bring Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Avni Singham. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the story is penned by Shantanu Srivastava, Kshitij Patwardhan, Yunus Sajawal, Milap Zaveri, Abhijeet Khuman, Sandeep and Anusha. Notably, the film is all set to release in the next half of the year 2024.
