Chandro Tomar, who was also known as ‘Shooter Dadi’ passes away at the age of 89 due to Covid-19. She contracted with Covid-19 and was hospitalized due to trouble in breathing. On Friday she took a heavenly abode.

Prakashi Tomar, sister-in-law of Chandro Tomar took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Mera sath chhuth gaya. Chandro kahan chali gayi."

The super hit movie ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ written by Jagdeep Sidhu was based on the life of the ‘Shooter Dadis’ Chandro- Prakashi Tomar released in 2019.
Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar essayed the roles of the sharp shooter dadis in the film. Where, Taapsee played the role of Prakashi Tomar and Bhumi played the character of Chandro Tomar.
Showing her grief on Chandro’s demise Taapsee wrote, “For the inspiration you will always be... You will live on forever in all the girls you gave hope to live. My cutest rockstar May the love and peace be with you."
