Chethana Raj death news: In a shocking piece of news, the 21-year-old Kannada actress Chethana Raj died during her fat removal surgery in Bengaluru on Monday.

In a major development, a case of medical negligence has been registered against Dr. Shetty's Cosmetic Clinic in Rajajinagar on the basis complaint filed by Chethana's father Varadaraju.

However, no arrests have been made so far. Reportedly, Chethana Raj had asked her parents for permission to undergo fat removal surgery but the family had not allowed her. The actress still went further and opted for the fat removal surgery.

As per the report, Chethana’s father Varadaraju had said that his daughter had died due to the negligence of the hospital as the doctors conducted surgery without parental consent.
