Confirmed! Disha Vakani aka Dayaben will not return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

On Tuesday, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah released the trailer for the forthcoming episode on social media. Since then, there have been numerous rumours concerning Disha Vakani aka Dayaben's comeback to the show after a 5-year break.

Finally, producer Asit Modi, who had previously stated that he would welcome Disha's return to the show, has spoken out about the rumours. He has said that Disha Vakani will not be appearing in the show, and that Dayaben's position will be filled by a fresh face.

Producer Asit Kumarr Modi has now announced that Disha would not be reprising her role as Dayaben, and their team is currently auditioning a number of females to take her place. Disha, who played Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal's wife in the superhit sitcom telecast on Sony SAB, formerly SAB TV, had originally performed the character for ten years, from 2008 to 2017.

"The character Dayaben is set to return, but it won't be Disha Vakani." "There will be a new actress coming in as Dayaben shortly," Asit Kumarr stated of the auditions for Disha's replacement.

"Auditions are in full gear to select a replacement Dayaben," he continued, "and we will finalise the actor soon." The audience will gain a better understanding of the new character.
