Covid-19 isn't over yet! Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for coronavirus

Coronavirus India Update: While the number of Covid-19 cases in India is rising, the Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share the update that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

"I have just tested CoViD + positive ... all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also ..." Bachchan wrote.

Notably, this is not the first time that Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19. Earlier, he had tested positive for Covid-19 in July 2020.

Back then, Big B was hospitalized for about three weeks, and not only him but also his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aradhya also contracted Covid-19.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Ayan Mukherji's 'Brahmastra', alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The film is set to hit theatres on September 9.

Besides, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Vikas Bahl's 'Good Bye' which also features Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, and Pavail Gulati. Likewise, Big B is also a part of 'Uunchai', featuring Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani.

Similarly, he also has a Hindi remake of 'The Intern' in his kitty.
