Following RRR's astounding commercial and critical success, S.S. Rajamouli is all set to join hands with Mahesh Babu. According to recent rumours, Mahesh Babu and Deepika Padukone will play opposite each other in SS Rajamouli's next, which is reported to be based on actual events.

The actress is reportedly in discussions to star as Mahesh Babu's love interest in the upcoming movie, directed by SS Rajamouli. SS Rajamouli may host an event similar to the one that he conducted for RRR before the shoot begins.

Deepika is currently working on the pan-Indian film "Project K" in which she will appear with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Suniel Shetty. Nag Ashwin is directing the movie, which had to be postponed by a year because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
