'Dhak Dhak' cast becomes first Hindi film unit to ride from Delhi to Khardung La

The cast and crew of Dhak Dhak rode from Delhi to shoot in Khardung La. It is for the first time in the history of Indian Cinema that a full unit rode to the highest motorable pass in the world to shoot a full scene with all the lead actors. 'Dhak Dhak' features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi as protagonists.

Braving through extreme weather, amidst heavy rainfall, sandstorms and temperatures ranging from 48 degrees to -2 degrees, the team wrapped the difficult Ladakh schedule with surging emotions.

"It holds such deep significance to each of our characters in the story and each one of us felt it. Immense gratitude for our producers, the crew, and most importantly the Indian Army for making the experience smoother for us,” Mirza said.

Being on the road for weeks had been a transformational journey, culminating at the breathtaking Khardung La pass. It’s been challenging and physically grueling, yet tremendously satisfying.”
