Dharmendra Deol: ‘I Am In Pain To See My Farmer Brothers Suffer’

Veteran actor Dharmendra Deol, who has been rooted in Punjab forever has now taken to social media to support the farmers standing against the three farm laws passed by the central government.

Dharmendra took to his Twitter handle and requested the government to help his farmer brothers as he is in pain to see them suffering. Dharmendra tweeted, "I am extremely in pain to see the suffering of my farmer brothers. Government should do something fast."

While thousands of farmers have been protesting in Delhi from across the nation against the three farm laws passed by the central government, many Punjabi and Hindi film industry celebs have been supporting them in the cause.

Multiple rounds of talks with the central government have failed to break the impasse, with the farmers seeking the complete repeal of the three ordinances.

Dharmendra, who recently celebrated his 85th birthday in Mumbai will soon be seen alongside his sons Sunny, Bobby and grandson Karan in 'Apne 2'.
