Diljit Dosanjh Pays An Ode To Living Legend Malkit Singh In His Style
Well-known Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh today paid an ode to living legend of Punjabi music, Malkit Singh by sharing a picture from the sets of his upcoming film ‘Shada’.
Diljit shared a photo of himself dressed in a traditional Punjabi attire on his Instagram handle. He is looking very similar to Malkit Singh: He captioned the image as: “An Ode to the GOLDEN STAR ⭐️ Living Legend @malkitsingh_goldenstar Ji ??? #Shadaa.”
Malkit Singh is a popular name in Punjab. He is known for his hit songs like ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mita’, ‘Tootak Tootak Tootiyan’, ‘Kurri Garam Jayee’, ‘Dekh li vilyait’ and ‘Chal Hun’ among others.
His song ‘Tutak Tutak Toothiyan’, written by Veer Rahimpuri, was the most successful Bhangra song in 1990.
Besides, Diljit also shared a video without sound. He captioned the video as: “#Shadaa Ranga Rang Program.”
Meanwhile, Diljit is currently busy in shooting for his upcoming Punjabi film ‘Shada’. The film also feature Neeru Bajwa.
‘Shadaa’ is produced by Atul Bhalla, Amit Bhalla, Anurag Bhalla, Aman Gill and Pawan Gill. This is the third movie of Atul Bhalla and Amit Bhall who have given two blockbusters in 2018 ‘Carry On Jatta 2’ and ‘Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan’.
