Elon Musk comes in support of Britney Spears for her conservatorship; as he tweets 'Free Britney'!

Since her breakdown 12 years ago, popstar Britney Spears has been under the full conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears. Britney's followers have been pleading with her father to let her go. Elon Musk, the billionaire and Tesla CEO, is the most recent supporter.

Britney Spears, 39, had just submitted a request to be released from a 12-year-old 'abusive conservatorship.' Britney Spears' fathers, as well as the then-court-appointed lawyer Andrew Wallet, were granted conservatorship by the court in 2008. After numerous mental health breakdowns, the choice was made.

Britney Spears, reportedly contacted 911 one night before giving her testimony in court to report conservatorship abuse.

On June 23, she called into a courtroom in downtown Los Angeles for the first time to speak publicly about the conservatorship and express her desire for it to be dissolved.

"It is my goal and dream for everything to come to an end. I'd like to reclaim my life. This conservatorship is, in my opinion, abusive... Without being assessed, I wish to end the conservatorship. I'd like to file a petition to have the conservatorship lifted "Judge Brenda Penny was informed by Spears.

Reason why Britney Spears is under conservatorship!

Following her divorce from Kevin Federline in 2007, various episodes aroused worries about Spears' mental health. According to various news accounts, she shaved her head and hit a photographer's car with an umbrella. She lost custody of her two children as a result of these factors, as well as her erratic behavior following her divorce.

She also abruptly cancelled a residency in Las Vegas, citing her father's illness as the cause of her anguish.
