Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar's marriage is on February 21; confirms Javed Akhtar

Another Bollywood wedding is on the way! Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, and a slew of other Bollywood stars have tied the wedding in the previous six months, delighting Bollywood fans. Now, Farhan and Shibani are all set to join the list. According to the reports, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's marriage will be registered on February 21.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's wedding rumors have been making the rounds for a while. While fans and supporters of both celebrities have frequently voiced their hopes and excitement on social media for the couple's marriage, Farhan's father, legendary poet, and screenwriter Javed Akhtar have confirmed the couple's marriage.

“Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, Shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners,” quoted Javed Akhtar.

He further stated that, because to the pandemic scenario, the gathering will be small and intimate, with just close friends and family attending. “Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people he explained. He highlighted that it will be a low-key celebration and that the invitations have yet to be sent out.

In 2018, the couple began dating. The actor was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani, with whom he has two kids, Shakya and Akira.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Toofan, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, was Farhan Akhtar's most recent project. In addition, the actor will helm the film Jee Le Zaraa, which will star Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif.
