Fatehveer Singh, Who Fell Into Borewell, Dies; Celebs Express Grief
Two-year old Fatehveer Singh who was trapped in a borewell in Punjab’s Sangrur district for over 109 hours breathed his last on June 11 morning. He was pulled out of the 120-feet deep borewell at 5 am in the morning, with his hands clamped with a rope.
Moments after he was pulled out, he was flown to PGI Chandigarh, where he was declared dead. While the nation mourns the death of the little kid, Punjabi celebrities like Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kulwinder Billa among others took down to social media to share their grief.

Fatehveer turned two on June 10. According to the reports, Fatehveer Singh stepped out of his home to play and accidentally stepped on a jute bag which was covering a 150-foot deep, 9-inches wide borewell.
