People across the nation are calling 2022 a black year as they lost several singers within 5 months of the year. From Lata Mangeshkar, Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK to Sidhu Moose Wala, the music industry lost several gems this year.
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK died last night at the age of 53 and his untimely death shocked Bollywood. The playback singer was in Kolkata for a live concert, and soon after he reached the hotel he fell ill and collapsed on the stairs.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. Soon after the news surfaced, the Bollywood celebrities besides Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended condolences to the departed soul.

Just few days ago, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. His death left everybody shocked in Punjab and still people are not able to believe that he is no more.

Earlier in the year, Lata Mangeshkar, the nightingale of India, had died and the whole Indian film industry mourned her demise as she was a legendary singer.

Likewise, the Disco King, Bappi Lahiri, also passed away in February this year. He was prominently known for his songs like 'Bambai Se Aaya Mera Dost', 'Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re', 'Ooh La La', and many more.
