Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: The entire nation is celebrating the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Several people have now opted to celebrate this special day by opting for eco-friendly Ganesh idols. While several people receive appreciation for changing for the better, a food blogger recently made headlines for creating a chocolate Ganesha and melting it with hot milk.
The food blogger is recognised as Chahat Anand who was accused of offending religious sensibilities by making fun of Lord Ganesha and hence, people want an apology for her actions.
Chahat Anand, a food blogger, recently posted a video of herself enjoying Ganesh Mahotsav in a restaurant with an eco-friendly edible Ganesha idol. The caption reads, "This year go with eco-friendly Ganpati. Help poor and kids too by distributing food to them. disclaimer- here we can worship Ganpati ji and post celebration, immersion can be done with milk. It will result in chocolate milk that can be distributed as prasadam. Location- @swirllscakeryandcafe."
The food blogger was seen dining in a restaurant while holding a thali that contains a chocolate shaped Ganesha idol. To melt the idol, she then begins to pour hot milk on it. The food blogger was participating in the eco-friendly Ganesh Mahotsav when she did this.
Many people were offended by her video of pouring hot milk into a chocolate Ganesha idol, and they expressed their displeasure by tagging her in multiple tweets. Additionally, some are asking the food blogger to apologise. A user posted,“She is looking to increase her business by doing so. Do not give that limelight. Quietly do the work and file FIR under 295A IPC if you are keen.”
While another person took a dig at the restaurant for creating Ganesha's idol of chocolate.
