Grammy Awards 2022: Olivia Rodrigo drops and breaks her Grammy

Grammy Awards 2022: Olivia Rodrigo had a wonderful night at the 64th Grammy Awards on Sunday, but things backstage were far from flawless for the "Drivers License" singer. She proceeded backstage after receiving all three trophies to take photos and speak with the media when one of the trophies slid and fell to the floor, shattering in half.

Rodrigo won three Grammy Awards for her single "Drivers License," including best new artist, best pop vocal album, and pop solo performance.

Olivia was overwhelmed with joy after she accepted the three major awards that were awarded to her yesterday. She was, however, left red-faced in the winners' room when she dropped one of her awards, shattering it instantly.

Olivia seemed to shrug it off before reassembling the trophy for more shots.

Other artists may have a similar experience. Swift won four Grammys in 2010, including Album of the Year, at the 52nd Grammy Awards. She dropped one of her trophies while posing with them for photos. Adele notoriously shattered her Album of the Year trophy in 2017.

Earlier, Olivia and BTS member V’s video went viral on the internet from the Grammys 2022. In the video, V was seen sitting close to Olivia in the audience, smiling, before BTS' Butter performance.

Olivia was seen smiling as V presented her with a card in the video. He then flung the card aside, pointing at the stage. Later, at the ceremony, the two also posed for a photo together.
