Guinness World Records news: Those who feel lazy on Mondays call it 'Monday Blues'. It seems it is not just a phrase but a real emotion. Monday is the day when people have to get back to work after a fun weekend.

While the first day of the week is considered the least favourite day for a lot of people, the Guinness World Records (GWR) has officially declared Monday as the 'worst day of the week'.

"We're officially giving Monday the record of the worst day of the week," Guinness World Records said in a tweet on Monday.

Guinness World Records' post was flooded with various funny memes and jokes. The majority of people agreed with the announcement of  Guinness World Records.

"I take Mondays off just for this reason," a user said, while another said he was willing to file a petition to ban Mondays.

Likewise, an official page for 'Angry Bird' also reacted to Guinness World Records' post and wrote: "Took you long enough". To this post, Guinness World Records responded, "Ikr", or "I know right!"

It is pertinent to mention that the Guinness World Records (GWR) is a reference book that is published every year in various languages across the world.
