Gurdas Maan reveals Bappi Lahiri was an inspiration for him; share an emotional note

Bappi Lahiri's death has left a void that will never be replaced. He is, was, and always will be a priceless treasure. Everyone is overwhelmed with emotion when they think of him. Gurdas Maan, a Punjabi singer-actor has also expressed his connection with Bappi Lahiri.

Gurdas Maan who has worked with numerous Bollywood musicians took to his social media and revealed that he was always inspired by Bappi Lahiri's music. For him, his legacy will continue to be for years to come.

He posted a very poignant message on his social media account.

"Bappida music di duniya de oh fankaar jinna ne music vich ik navin lehar shuru kiti si. It’s a very big loss for all the music lovers around the world. You inspired so many like me. Bappida your legacy will stay with us forever. ??"

Bappi Lahiri, the iconic singer-composer, was cremated on Thursday afternoon. The Disco King's lifeless remains were transported from his home to Pawan Hans's cremation yard in a truck decked with flowers for the funeral rituals.

Vidya Balan, Alka Yagnik, Shaan, Ila Arun, Lalit Pandit, Rupali Ganguly, and Mika Singh were among the celebrities who paid their respects at the funeral.
