"I started out as a fast bowler and was selected for India's under-19 cricket World Cup team," Harrdy Sandhu said of his passion for cricket. Unfortunately, I injured my elbow during training, and despite my best efforts to get it treated, all efforts were in vain. Then I went to Australia on a student visa to figure out my next chapter in life and settle down. When nothing seemed to be working out, I began driving taxis to make ends meet."

Harrdy Sandhu is known for his amazing Punjabi hits like ‘Naah’, Kya Baat Ay, Horn Blow, and many more. He states that he got a break for his song ‘Soch’ in 2013.

"In February 2019, I was only in Chandigarh for a day and I randomly got a call from Ammy Virk (he was one of the first few actors to be confirmed for '83') saying, 'Come down to the restaurant of your building, I have to make you meet someone," Harrdy Sandhu explained.

That's how I first met Kabir Khan sir and Balwinder Sandhu ji. We discussed how '83 is shaping up, and they asked if I could imitate Madan Lal ji's bowling motion. Madan Lal ji, who was also a fast bowler, had coached me at an NCB camp, so I thought I could do it."
