With the amount of Zest Cannes was flooding in, the same energy was seen getting poured on the opening night of the international film festival. Yes, Cannes have officially started from Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Meanwhile, the opening night of the prestigious event was graced by many Indian celebrities from Sara Ali Khan to Miss World Manushi Chhillar. Everyone reached the red carpet donning their absolute best.
Indian actresses debut at Cannes 2023
The 76th Cannes Film Festival will be filled with Indian faces this time. Meanwhile, the premiere night of Louis XV period drama 'Jeanne du Barry' started off with utter blast. On day 1, three of the Indian celebrities has stolen the media attention with their ultra-debut moments. Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta and Manushi Chhillar added extra glamour on the screaming red carpet.

All the three Indian actresses were seen reaching the Cannes in minimal tones. Saif's daughter Sara Ali Khan ditched the modernity and opted a ivory Indian lehenga crafted by the designer duo 'Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.' The actress's daring take on brining Indianness has impressed her fans globally. The hand crafted embellished lehenga included a trailing dupatta along a middle parted hair bun looked true embodiment of a timeless tradition.
On the other hand Miss World Manushi Chhillar chose a white wedding gown by 'Fovari'. The hand made pleats along with the corseted bodice of the dress gave her a stunning Cannes worthy appearance on the red carpet. For the accessory she opted an emerald green statement necklace.
'Murder 2' actress, Esha Gupta looked a Hollywood worthy celebrity in her white Nicholas Jebran SS23 couture gown. Her ensemble included a dramatic collar embedded with floral detailing and a oozing thigh high slit made her look stunning on her debut moment.
Meanwhile, this is just the beginning of the Bollywood glamour at the red carpet. We have a whole bunch of listed celebrities who will be adding drama on the upcoming days.
