Priyanka Chopra's Citadel is in radar! Amazon CEO Andy Jassy questions its failure with a Rs. 2000 crore budget

Desi girl Priyanka Chopra has made headlines previously this year with her Amazon Prime spy-thriller series 'Citadel'. But it was however just it's initial stage. The after-results are quite vandalizing. According to the reports 'Citadel' series is now under crisis which took it to Amazon's CEO radar. Yes, you heard it correct! Recently Andy Jassy took the television series under questions which eventually failed to access people's love and affection all over the world. 

The 'Citadel' failure!

The CEO has demanded all the fortune worthy big budget series that failed to make a mark among the audience, among which 'Citadel' is at the top. Even after an humongous budget of $250 million which is equal to Rs. 2000 crore in Indian currency, the spy series is now seems to be in danger! The after-results were however turned out to be very ironical since the first few episodes intrigued the audience with utter pleasure and gripping plot. But gradually it started retaining and grabbing all the mixed and poor reviews. 

The list is longer than 'Citadel'

However, it is not just 'Citadel' which was listed among the low-guarded shows, there are few others too which were brought into light by Andy Jassy for further reviews. According to the sources the OTT platform have invested more than $100 million dollar in the series such as Daisy Jones & The Six, The Peripheral, Dead Ringers, The power and none of which made it to the top 10 list of the Prime trending's. 

About 'Citadel'

'Citadel' is an American Spy-action thriller series created by Patrick Moran and the Russo Brothers'. The global television series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra as Citadel agents who reunites after loosing their memories and the after-story is it's only plot! First premiered on April 28, 2023, the show is also been made in India with it's Indian leads which will feature Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
