'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' team ‘misses’ late actor Sidharth Shukla as film completes 8 years

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was undoubtedly one of the best films starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan together. However, it now turned out to be even more special for Sidharth Shukla's fans as their favourite star is no more. Thus, as 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' completed 8 years of its screening, the makers are missing 'Sid'.

The movie became one of the most popular romantic films. The film's success pushed the makers to create it as a franchise. After eight years, director Shashank Khaitan and actor Varun Dhawan remembered about the film on its anniversary.

In a heartfelt note, the Shashank Khaitan also remembered Sidharth Shukla, who played a pivotal role in the film.

Shashank said, “8 years of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania… So much gratitude… Miss you Sid, still cannot believe you are not with us…”

It may be recalled that Sidharth Shukla died due to a heart attack on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40. Undoubtedly, the late actor is fondly remembered by the industry.

Notably, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was his Bollywood debut and it was very special for Sidharth Shukla.

The film was released on July 11, 2014. It featured Ashutosh Rana, Deepika Amin, Gaurav Pandey, among others, besides Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Shukla in the lead roles.
