'Iam happy for what Iam being paid for my profession', says Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan news: Actor Vidya Balan is known for her roles in films. She never fails to impress the audience with her performances. The 'Shakuntadevi' actor has recently talked about pay parity during an interview. Vidya Balan is one of the actors who have always come up to put forth their views on topics related to women or any social issue.

Recently, the Misson Mangal actress spoke about the injustice that happens to female actors and is paid less in comparison to male actors. But Vidya said that she is satisfied with whatever amount she is being paid for her work in films. Now, the issue of equal pay has come up in Bollywood. In a roundtable discussion, she spoke about the issue fearlessly.

Further, the 'Kahaani' actor said that she does not have an idea of pay disparity but she thinks she is paid as much as she should be. Although the bigger actors in the mainstream might demand ten times more than what she is getting.

There were other actors also who were talking about the same issue which includes 'Dasvi' actor Nimrat Kaur who was a part of the discussion along with 'Jersey' actor Mrunal Thakur said that it is important to make it very clear what one is expecting, before signing a film.

On the professional front, Vidya Balan will be next seen in an untitled film with Director Pratik Gandhi alongside IlleanaD Cruz.
