Jagdeep Sidhu announces new Punjabi film 'Chabi Wala Bandar'; details inside
Latest Punjabi Entertainment News: Jagdeep Sidhu is undoubtedly the man behind altering the meaning of romantic Punjabi films. With his spectacular films- Qismat, Sufna, Sukhi Bindi, to name a few the writer-director has set a high benchmark in The industry. Keeping his legacy ongoing, Jagdeep Sidhu has several films in the pipeline. Now adding to the list, Jagdeep Sidhu has announced new Punjabi film titled 'Chabi Wala Bandar'.
For the unversed, besides romantic films Jagdeep Sidhu has contributed to several comedy films namely Nikka Zaildar series. Be it a romantic film or comedy Jagdeep Sidhu has carved a niche in both. Now, as the title reads, the film is speculated to be a comedy film, however, there is no official statement about the genre of the film.
Chabi Wala Bandar, Jagdeep's next film is currently in the pre production phase as revealed by the writer himself. The film is said to include 7 major characters and the quest for the actors will begin in the first week of July.
Other than this, Jagdeep Sidhu took to his Insta stories and revealed that his next project 'Sher Bagga' starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa is currently in the editing phase.
Coming back to Chabi Wala Bandar, Jagdeep Sidhu also stated that the inspiration behind the film is singer and actor Giraz Bindrakhia whose words motivated Jagdeep Sidhu to go on with the film's vision.
It is also worth noticing that Gitaz Bindrakhia is all set to make his lead debut with Jagdeep's next directorial 'Moh' also starring Sargun Mehta.
Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, Chabi Wala Bandar is scheduled to release by Summer 2023.
