'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' is around a Gujarati sarpanch's son who defies his patriarchal family in order to save his unborn girl child, sending a social message about female infanticide.

The film, which sees Ranveer Singh assume the role of a parent for the first time, is a great blend of emotions, humour, and drama with brilliant performances by the actors. It gives the appropriate dosage of amusement while still addressing a serious topic.
