'Hot Take' movie on Johnny Depp, Amber Heard's defamation trial: Yes, you read it right. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation trial is being adapted into a film.

Titled 'Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial', the film is based on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation case which is set to debut exclusively on the free Tubi streaming service.

The film features Mark Hapka as Johnny Depp and Megan Davis as Amber Heard, Variety reported.

Melissa Marty will be portraying Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez while Mary Carrig will portray Amber Heard's lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft.

'Hot Take' movie on Johnny Depp, Amber Heard's defamation trial, follows the most-talked relationship -- in and out of court -- Depp and Heard. The two-month defamation trial concluded on June 1 after the jury found that Amber Heard had defamed Johnny Depp.

The movie was reportedly fast-tracked by Tubi and MarVista in an order "to capture a timely take on a story.

"'Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial' is said to be a timely, culturally relevant original movie. The film is being produced in collaboration with Tubi, said Hannah Pillemer, EVP creative of affairs for MarVista.

In the meanwhile, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have not commented on the film, as of now.
