Kajol to reunite with her first co-star Kamal Sadanah, says 'it's a lifetime since we met'

On the set of Revathy's 'Salaam Venky', Bollywood actress Kajol unexpectedly met with Kamal Sadanah after 30 years apart. 1992 saw the release of Bekhudi, Kajol's debut movie starring Kamal.

The 1992 action drama Bekhudi served as Kajol's acting debut. She appeared in the movie opposite Kamal Sadannah, who became incredibly well-known thanks to the 1993 love drama Rang, which also starred Ayesha Jhulka and Divya Bharti. By the end of the 1990s, he made the decision to take a break from the film industry, but he soon began dabbling with directing and production.

And now Kamal, who rose to fame in the 1990s, is prepared to return to the big screen 15 years after his last theatrical movie, Victoria No 203 (2007). He will reconnect with Kajol in Revathy's forthcoming film Salaam Venky, where he will play a crucial role.

Intriguingly, Revathy kept Kamal's casting a secret, notably from Kajol, and shocked her on the movie set. Kajol was shocked because it was her first time meeting his co-star. She labeled the incident a "shocker," and, overcome, she fiercely hugged him.

Vishal Jethwa, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Rahul Bose are just a few of the other actors in the movie. The film also includes Aamir Khan in a significant role. The movie "Salaam Venky," which is being helmed by Revathy, will debut on December 9 in theatres.
