Kangana Ranaut's 'Dhaakad' sells only 20 tickets on Day 8 across the country
Dhaakad Box Office Collection: Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited 'Dhaakad' witnessed a disaster run at the box office. The action thriller collected only Rs 4,420 on Day 8 of its theatrical journey.
As per reports, the film sold only 20 tickets across the country. Netizens even called it the biggest flop of the year.

Reportedly, Dhaakad's box office collection is near Rs 3 crore only while it cost Rs 80 crore to Rs 90 crore to make the film. Besides, the film is struggling to find an online streaming distribution as the makers have not cracked any deal with the OTT platform prior to its release.

Meanwhile, several theatres have reportedly discontinued the film’s screening in cinemas within a week of its release. Dhaakad was released on May 20. According to Bollywood Hungama, the Kangana Ranaut-starrer was released at over 2100 screens last week.

However, the screens were reduced by the end of the weekend. Likewise, several theatre owners replaced Dhaakad with the Hollywood film Top Gun: Maverick starring Tom Cruise instead of Dhaakad.
The report further stated that Dhaakad, in Week 2, was only being screened in 25 cinemas across India. Delhi is one of the biggest cities where the film was still playing in four theatres while Mumbai's cinema halls are not playing it.
