Kangana Ranaut expresses disappointment following PM Modi's announcement to repeal Farm Laws

Kangana Ranaut, who supported the three agricultural laws, is outraged by the decision to withdraw them. In a speech to the nation this morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I apologise to the people of the country, and I sincerely want to say that our efforts may have been lacking in such a way that we were unable to explain them. I've come to inform you that we have decided to repeal three agricultural laws.

During the upcoming session, the Parliament will begin the process of withdrawing the three agricultural laws. I implore the farmers to return to their homes and fields."

Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, is dissatisfied with the Prime Minister's decision.

Thousands of farmers, primarily from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, have been protesting for more than a year, calling for the repeal of the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

The three farm laws, which were passed in September 2020 were envisioned by the central government as major reforms in the agriculture sector that would eliminate middlemen and allow farmers to sell anywhere in the country.

On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Prime Minister Modi stated that the three farm laws would be repealed during the upcoming Winter session of Parliament.

"Today I want to tell everyone that we have decided to repeal all three farm laws," he said in a speech to the nation.

Soon after the announcement, a number of film celebrities took to social media to express their delight at the government's decision and to commend farmers for their tenacity.
