Kapil Sharma issues statement after words of rift between him and Akshay Kumar spreads on the internet

Almost every one of Akshay Kumar's films gets promoted on Kapil Sharma's show. Meanwhile, word of a rift between the two surfaced yesterday, with reports claiming that Akshay will not go on Kapil Sharma's show to promote 'Bachchan Pandey.'

The source of Akshay's annoyance was Kapil Sharma's mention of Akshay's interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the show. Despite the actor's request that it not be broadcast, the film was shown. Kapil has now cleared the situation with a tweet.

In a tweet today, Kapil Sharma, presenter of the eponymous comedy series, stated that he had spoken with Akshay Kumar, that everything was fine, and that the actor will be promoting his new film Bachchan Pandey on The Kapil Sharma as planned. For those unfamiliar, Akshay Kumar was reportedly offended when a tape from a prior episode of The Kapil Sharma Show that he had shot was leaked online.

"Dear friends, was reading all the news in media about me and Akshay paji. I have just spoke to paji and sorted all this, it was just a miscommunication, all is well and very soon we are meeting to shoot Bachhan Pandey episode. He is my big bro and can never be annoyed with me, thank you."

While Akshay Kumar came on the show recently to promote his film 'Atrangi Re' with Sara Ali Khan, Kapil Sharma teased him about an interview he had with the 'renowned personality in which the actor inquired about how he ate mangoes. The names of the said person' in the show were not taken by either. Kapil was hinting at Akshay Kumar's 2019 interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The host switched the topic after Akshay pushed Kapil to take the person's name openly.

According to reports, Akshay is angry with Kapil since he demanded that the above-mentioned scene be deleted from the final episode. Although this section was cut, the small film was supposedly leaked and became viral online.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez play the key roles of 'Bachchan Pandey.' Farhad Samji directs the action-comedy, which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will be released on March 18.
